Legislative Updates

Legislature Passes Step Therapy Bill

This week, the Massachusetts Legislature unanimously approved An Act relative to step therapy and patient safety, which I filed with my friend and colleague Representative Jeffrey Roy. This legislation is the result of commitment and collaboration between patients, providers, advocates at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network in Massachusetts, and colleagues to improve health outcomes. The bill is now on Governor Baker’s desk and I urge the Governor to sign it into law.
